Safaid Chaunsa is not simply Pakistan's most loved mango — it is the mango the world knows Pakistan by. Pale as morning light, almost translucent at its peak, it carries a sweetness so pure and clean that no other variety quite matches it. Grown in the deep, mineral-rich soil of Multan under the relentless southern Punjab sun, Noor-e-Multan embodies everything the season promises and rarely delivers — unless you know exactly where to look.
This is the mango that disappears the fastest at every dastarkhan. The one the elders ask for by name. The one children remember years later. There is no occasion it does not suit — a quiet afternoon with Kachi Lassi, an Eid gathering with the whole family, or a gift box sent to someone you want to impress without saying a word. When the box arrives and that unmistakable honey-sweet fragrance escapes — you will know exactly why we named it the Light of Multan.
"The world exports it. Pakistan's finest families eat it. Now it comes to your door."
How to Handle the Box
How to Handle the Box
- Keep the box at room temperature when it arrives — do not refrigerate immediately.
- Open the box and inspect each mango gently through its white net — do not press hard.
- If the skin is still pale and firm, leave them in the open box for 2–3 days at room temperature.
- When the skin turns a soft golden-yellow and a gentle honeyed fragrance fills the air — it is time.
- Chill for 1–2 hours before serving. Once ripe, refrigerate and consume within 3–4 days.
